A great
way for schools to save the bilby is to hold a fence fundraiser!
Here’s how:
|
Get
your teachers to help you pick a part of a fence at your school
and make this your very own Save the Bilby Fence!
|
- When
Easter is coming, everyone in the school can sponsor a fence
panel on your Save the Bilby Fence and in return, they get
to decorate their panel! You could use paint, liquid paper,
crayon and chalk. Get your teacher’s help in deciding
on decorating materials – it could even be part of
your art class!
|
- Depending
on how big your school is (and how big your fence is!),
you can change how much it costs to sponsor a fence panel.
Students could sponsor a panel for their family or even
their street! So $10 a panel is a good starting point.
- When
you have finished decorating your Save the Bilby Fence,
fill out a donation
form or send the money you raised to address below.
- Don’t
forget to send
us a picture of your Save the Bilby Fence so we can
put it up on easterbilby.com.au
so everyone can see your efforts to Save the Bilby!
An
even easier way to raise money is to have a gold
coin day at your school. Everyone can wear muffti clothes
and in return, they can donate a gold coin to the Save the
Bilby Fund.
Put
all the money you raise together and your school could buy
a whole section of the Save the Bilby Fence!
