easterbilby.com.au uses an easy-to-use bulletin board service so that you can talk to those who are working to save the bilby, the managers of this website and to other users of easterbilby.com.au.

This is a moderated bulletin board service and as such, your postings will not appear straight away. Offensive or inappropriate postings will be deleted.

How to Use the Bulletin Board

When you click ‘start’ and the bulletin board opens in a new window, a list of topics is displayed. For instance, the first topic is “Fundraising Questions”. Topics are broad areas of discussion.

When you click on a topic you will be taken to a new page. You can either post a completely new question or comment in this topic (called a subtopic) or you can reply to someone else’s subtopic.

Posting a New Question or Comment

  1. Open the bulletin board by clicking on the ‘start’ button.
  2. Click on the topic that interests you e.g. Fundraising Questions.
  3. Click on “post subtopic” located at the bottom of the page.
  4. A form will be displayed. Fill out the form, giving your question/comment a title, typing out your question/comment in full and then supplying your contact details.
  5. Click on “Post Subtopic”.
  6. Done! Your message will be checked by the moderator and then posted within 24 hours.

Replying to Someone Else’s Question or Comment

  1. Open the bulletin board by clicking on the ‘start’ button.
  2. Click on the topic that interests you e.g. Fundraising Questions.
  3. Click on title of the subtopic that interests you.
  4. Click on “post reply” located at the bottom of the page.
  5. A form will be displayed. Fill out the form, giving your question/comment a title, typing out your question/comment in full and then supplying your contact details.
  6. Click on “Post Reply”.
  7. Done! Your message will be checked by the moderator and then posted within 24 hours.
